Edinburgh All Nations Church sent Jang Myung, a ministry worker from Hong Kong, to Africa for short-term mission service. Though we are a small multicultural congregation, we are thankful to see the church growing into a community that not only receives, but also sends.
The Korean Language Classes completed the summer term well and are preparing for the autumn term. We are also preparing to expand the Korean Language Classes into the Korean Culture Centre in Scotland (KCCS), creating a wider place for language, culture and relationships.
Through our continuing language-exchange Meetup gatherings, we listen to local friends and build trust. Some who first came through these gatherings have begun attending church and exploring faith. We pray that hospitality and friendship will become a natural bridge for sharing the love of Jesus.
에딘버러 올네이션스교회는 홍콩 출신 장명 전도사를 아프리카 단기선교사로 파송했습니다. 작지만 다민족으로 이루어진 교회가 선교를 받는 공동체를 넘어 사람을 보내는 교회로 자라가고 있음을 보며 감사하고 있습니다.
한국어 교실은 여름학기를 잘 마치고 가을학기를 준비하고 있습니다. 또한 ‘한국어 교실’을 ‘스코틀랜드 한국문화센터(KCCS)’로 확장하여 언어뿐 아니라 한국 문화를 통해 더 넓은 만남과 교제의 장을 만들고자 준비하고 있습니다.
계속되는 언어교환 Meetup 모임에서는 현지 친구들의 이야기에 귀 기울이며 신뢰를 쌓아가고 있습니다. 이 모임을 통해 교회에 나오고 믿음생활을 시작한 친구들도 있습니다. 우리의 환대와 우정이 자연스럽게 복음의 대화로 이어져 예수님의 사랑을 전하는 통로가 되기를 소망합니다.
